COMMON DIQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRING WAIVERS

Dermatological
Chronic eczema, severe psoriasis, large or offensive tattoos. Dermatologist notes proving the condition is managed without systemic medications.
Vision/Auditory
Astigmatism outside limits, laser eye surgery (LASIK/PRK).Pre- and post-operative charts, stable vision checks at least 6 months post-surgery.
Systemic Conditions
Childhood asthma, high blood pressure, history of allergies.Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) for asthma, consecutive days of normal blood pressure logs.
